Coppens Warenhuis started with a floor space of 300 meters. “Back then mainly in antiques and curiosities,” says Jan Coppens. “Luxury household items were soon added that we imported ourselves. This keeps prices low.” The range expanded and the retail space could not keep up. The store is now over 10,000 square meters with one floor. Coppens Warenhuis is one of the few independent department stores in the Netherlands. “And because we purchase many quality and brand lots, there are continuous special offers,” says Jan Coppens.
