Experience the Dutch Winter
The park is magically decorated and lit with tens of thousands of lights. Discover the Dutch winter in miniature with snowy Christmas trees and ice on the canals. At Madurodam, the Elfstedentocht will definitely take place! With delicious hot chocolate, the one and only, we ensure a cozy feeling in the park! There are also cozy fire baskets throughout the park. Are you also a fan of marshmallows? Come by and enjoy. Or do the winter treasure hunt and go in search of all the snowmen in Madurodam. Can you find them all?
Enjoy winter delicacies
Feeling peckish? Come to the Winter Square in the heart of the park, where delicious winter snacks await you. A steaming bowl of pea soup, a warm sausage roll or that indispensable hot chocolate milk will complete your Madurodam day. And good news—you can also enjoy a delicious meal in our restaurants until closing time.
Enjoy the attractions even longer
Of course you want to admire those magical lights extra long! That is why Madurodam is often open a bit longer this winter. Check the website for the current opening hours. Our doors are even open during Christmas and New Year!
