Fancy paddling in the water, taking a romantic walk along the beach, building sandcastles or simply relaxing in the sun and enjoying a swim? You can do it all at BillyBird Drakenrijk’s beach!

Who will you bring to build sandcastles with?

At the recreational lake of BillyBird Drakenrijk, you can rent a sun lounger for €5 per day. The loungers are located in front of the Beach Bar and cannot be reserved in advance.

Stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) is allowed on our recreational lake. However, you are not allowed to paddle your SUP board underneath the bridge to the other side of the lake. If you paddle beyond the floating safety line, the same rules apply as for swimmers.

Beyond the floating safety line, access is only permitted for guests with good swimming ability. This means you must be able to swim safely without the use of flotation aids. Flotation aids include life jackets, armbands, cork floats and similar items. Therefore, it is not permitted to paddleboard beyond the safety line while wearing a life jacket. This allows our lifeguards to determine whether you meet the requirements to be beyond the safety line. Children who rely on armbands, life jackets or other flotation aids are also not permitted beyond the safety line, even when accompanying an adult on a SUP board.
